Welcome to Voltaire School’s after-school programme!
A year to play, create, discover and grow together!
Cours & Jardins welcomes children from Voltaire Elementary School after classes in a warm and supportive environment. Our team offers a wide range of activities tailored to their interests and pace, so they can continue their school day through play, discovery and enjoyment.
Key dates for the 2026 school year
- Wednesday, 2 September: first day of school.
- Thursday, 3 September: first day of after-school care.
- Thursday, 3 September at 6:00 pm: information meeting for families of elementary school pupils.
Please note: no childcare service will be available during the meeting.
A year around the world!
Theme of the year: The World and Travellers!
This year, the children will set off to discover continents, countries and cultures through workshops, games and group projects.
Our programme is organised around three main areas: sport, art and the environment. Every day, children will have the opportunity to explore new activities, develop their creativity and share experiences with their friends.
Two options
1. L’Accueillette: after-school care
Do you need childcare after school without enrolling your child in a workshop?
L’Accueillette gives children the opportunity to stay with us until 4:30 pm in a familiar and reassuring environment.
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from 3:45 pm to 4:30 pm.
A specific fee applies to this option.
2. Workshops: discover, create and grow
Each day, children enrolled in the Workshops can choose one activity from three options in the following areas:
- Sport: team games, movement activities, obstacle courses and physical activities.
- Art: visual arts, theatre, music and creative expression.
- Environment: gardening, cooking, discovery activities and exploring nature.
The activities are designed to encourage curiosity, independence and cooperation, while giving each child the freedom to explore their own interests.
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from 3:45 pm to 5:45 pm.
A specific “Workshops” package is available for this option.
Homework and quiet time
At the end of the day, children have access to a dedicated space where they can do their homework independently or with the support of an adult, either in the canteen or in the BCD.
This option is also available on Wednesdays.
Wednesdays: an afternoon to take your time
On Wednesdays, children enjoy a longer afternoon with more time for activities, discovery and group projects.
Hours: 1:15 pm to 5:45 pm.
Please note: L’Accueillette is not available on Wednesdays. A specific Wednesday rate applies.
Registration: choose the option that suits you
Several registration options are available so that you can organise your child’s after-school care according to your needs:
Freedom Plan
Your child’s place is guaranteed every day throughout the school year, whether or not they attend.
Fixed Days Plan
Choose one or more fixed days per week, with the option to change your schedule each term.
Ticket Plan
For occasional childcare needs, register your child by email at least 48 hours in advance. Tickets are available from Cours & Jardins upon request.
Registration is open throughout the year, subject to availability.
