Since September 2014, Cours et Jardins gUG has been promoting artistic and intercultural education and running extracurricular workshops at Voltaire primary schools. The activities on offer include theatre for the children and this is supervised by qualified activity leaders with a variety of skills. Parents can collect their children at any time, and children are looked after directly after class in collaboration with the teaching team.
The afternoon includes a range of activities adapted to the pace, needs and preferences of the children. There are also extra-curricular activities during the autumn and winter holidays.
We offer your children a rich and varied range of artistic, creative, cultural and sporting activities, such as yoga and theatre.
From Monday to Friday, our centre welcomes children from CP to CM2 on the premises of the primary schools until 6pm.
We open our doors on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 3.45pm to 6pm, and on Wednesdays from 1.15pm to 6pm, during the school term, as soon as the school day ends. We work closely with the school to ensure constant supervision of the children.
Our team of activity leaders, all qualified and with a wide range of skills, supervise the children throughout the afternoon.
The activities take place in several stages:
Reception time: The children meet up, have a snack and play together, especially in the playground.
Free study time: All children are free to do their homework. Each child’s autonomy and motivation are respected.
Workshop time: We offer various workshops on a regular basis, such as team sports. A detailed programme will be available at the beginning of the school year.
Parents’ drop-in time: We welcome parents on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 4.30pm (before the activities, for registration) and between 5.45pm and 6pm (after the activities), as well as on Wednesdays between 5.45pm and 6pm (after the activities).
The elementary leisure centre starts in September, with registration taking place at the same time as the start of the school year. You can also register online from July.
We offer several registration options:
- Freedom option: your child’s place is guaranteed, whether or not they come, every day, all year round.
- Fixed Days: choose one or more days per week, which can be changed every quarter.
- Ticket option: register 48 hours in advance by e-mail, by presenting a ticket to the activity leaders. Tickets are available from Cours et Jardins on request by e-mail.
Registrations for reception are possible until 4.30pm. Meet in front of the school gate at 4.30pm.
