Cours et Jardins gUG is a non-profit organization recognized for its cultural education, offering diverse educational and artistic activities. The Jardins de Voltaire is one of the branches of our structure. It is an after-school activity center within the Voltaire School, providing artistic and leisure activities to young people according to the Cours et Jardins pedagogy.
Through the establishment of artistic practice workshops and leisure activities, you will take on the role of animator to bring the place and the activities offered to the young people to life.
Job responsibilities include:
- Participating in the development, animation, and evaluation of animation projects within the Voltaire School in accordance with the Cours et Jardins pedagogical framework.
- Developing a welcoming and communicative relationship with families and children.
- Ensuring the necessary safety conditions for the smooth operation of youth supervision.
Desired skills:
- Ability in animation and group management
- Advanced pedagogical sense
- Proficiency in French (minimum level B2)
- Proficiency in German (minimum level A2)
- Sense of responsibility and organizational skills
- Creative and initiative spirit
- Understanding of interculturality and related issues
Expected degrees and experiences:
- Experience in the fields of animation or youth supervision
- Youth supervision diploma(s) desired
Job location: Berlin (Germany)
Contract duration: Fixed-term contract: school period
Gross salary: 12.5 euros per hour (with potential salary increase during the year)
Working hours: Approximately 20 hours per week, during the day (after-school)

Cours et Jardins gUG is a non-profit cultural education company, founded in 2014 in Berlin. We offer educational activities, intercultural exchanges, and language learning through theater. Our mission is to promote non-formal, civic, sustainable, and intercultural education, fostering personal development and mutual understanding.
Our projects include:
- Les Jardins de Voltaire: after-school program at École Voltaire (Berlin)
- Thealingua: language learning through theater
- En Scène: theater workshops for teenagers and adults in Berlin
- LA LIBER: Franco-German improvisation workshops
- European projects: exchanges and partnerships within international educational projects
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the educational management and in connection with administrative management, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Development of Franco-German theater projects focused on civic and cultural education:
■ Identify and establish partnerships with schools and educational institutions
■ Develop and monitor projects promoting interculturality
■ Ensure project reporting (assessment, analysis) - Project management:
■ Develop project sheets, in collaboration with partners and the educational team
■ Assess client and partner needs
■ Prepare quotes, contracts, and invoices
■ Manage project logistics, including travel and team coordination (Thealinguists in Berlin) - Support the establishment of a Franco-German skills exchange forum for employees and partners:
■ Identify key speakers, facilitate exchanges, and organize events - Prospecting and partner relations:
■ Search for new partners in Germany, Europe, and beyond to offer educational modules
■ Follow-up on existing partnerships and participation in European projects
■ Manage client and partner relationships through appropriate communication tools (presentations, brochures)
■ Monitor and analyze completed projects
REQUIRED PROFILE
- Higher education graduate or equivalent experience, with a keen interest in intercultural education, languages, and theater
- You share our values of civic engagement and sustainable development in education
- You are comfortable with prospecting and have excellent listening skills to understand partner needs
- You enjoy teamwork and know that success is built together
- You are proficient in IT and digital tools, including CRM, social networks, and management software
- You are fluent in French, German, and ideally another language
- You are comfortable with oral communication and have excellent writing skills
