Thealingua is a method that combines languages, education and collective creativity to make foreign language learning easier and more engaging.
Since 2010, THEALINGUA has been developing a method for teaching and learning foreign languages through theatre. Every year, more than 100 projects are carried out in schools, universities, and educational, social and cultural institutions across France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Luxembourg and Spain.
With 15 years of experience, a European network of 30 professionals, an innovative methodology and resources open to everyone, THEALINGUA brings to life an approach to education that is committed, participatory and inclusive. Our certified method is supported by a passionate collective, in which we bring together everyone’s strengths and expertise to continuously develop the very best of THEALINGUA.
Thealinguists, professionals trained in the method, adapt to all language-learning contexts, from primary school to university. Depending on their availability, they work in French, Arabic, Russian, Italian, Spanish or English.

Each Thealingua project is built around four key elements, which you choose and develop together with our project coordinator and your Thealinguist:

Together, we define the linguistic and artistic objectives, adapt the content to the group’s level, and prepare a final outcome such as a performance, a video recording or a stage presentation.
