LIVING AND LEARNING TOGETHER AS NEIGHBORS

Art project for 8‑ to 11‑year-olds

Details:
One of the two schools submits the application to the DFJW at least one month before the project starts. The DFJW establishes contact between the cultural institution and the school. Both then jointly decide on the project and its schedule. A preparatory meeting for teachers from both countries can be covered by the lump sum (travel costs). A shared final result, to be presented, can be planned. Knowledge of the partner language is not required.

The DFJW offers students from grades 3 to 6 in the Franco-German border region school encounters with a simplified implementation.

Ready to implement:
Franco-German school exchange supervised by artists in dance and theater, integrating pedagogical and intercultural aspects.

Requirements:
For grades 3 to 6 (primary and lower secondary school). Four days per year, not necessarily consecutive: exchanges between students from Germany and France with at least two in-person meetings, including at least one with the artists.

Costs:
Flat rate of €1,234 for the exchange project.
